We are a proud member parish of the Anglican Diocese of British Columbia, those Anglican churches found on Vancouver Island, the Gulf Islands, and Kingcome Inlet on the Sunshine Coast. Informally, some have taken to calling us ‘the diocese of the islands and inlets’.
In 2015, we adopted a Vision as a diocese: Renewed Hearts, Renewed Spirits, Renewed People. Since then, we have embarked on a vision fullfillment journey to discern how God will guide us towards seeing our vision come to life in our parishes, communities and regions.

We acknowledge with thanksgiving that we gather on the territories of the First Nations Peoples, and especially those of the Snaw-Naw-As people.
We join a line of Anglicans who have worshipped on these islands for over 150 years. As we continue, we commit ourselves to a journey of truth and reconciliation between the indigenous peoples of this land and the non-native peoples of Canada.
We seek the full inclusion of all people and are committed to serving the poor and working for economic equality for all people on these islands and inlets.
We are committed to creating and maintaining a safe community in every respect including our ministry with vulnerable persons such as children, seniors and persons with special challenges.
We aim to welcome everyone, regardless of language, race or sexuality, into a Christian community whose core values are love, respect, kindness and generosity.
As a diocese, we are also part of the Anglican Church of Canada and the worldwide Anglican Communion. The Anglican Church of Canada is also in a ‘full communion’ partnership with the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Canada.
