A dedicated group of volunteers coordinate the sorting and return of refundable containers on a monthly basis.
The group was formed a number of years ago by a now deceased member of the congregation, and has raised in excess of $15,000 which goes to Outreach Ministries.
Parishioners and members of the wider community bring their refundable containers to church (please leave bagged donations by the side, green door, off the main parking lot if the church isn't open), and the volunteers sort them and then take them to the Recycling Center in Nanaimo.
New volunteers are always welcome to join!
