We are happy to announce that church services will be starting again at St Philip by-the-Sea Anglican Church in Lantzville, commencing on Sunday 16th August.
Our first services are due to be as follows:
Sunday 16th August - 9am (Book of Alternative Services)
Wednesday 19th August - 9am (Book of Common Prayer)
Before coming to any services, please make sure that you have read thoroughly the documents that are attached to this announcement. I hope that these will answer all the questions that you may have and give you assurance that we are doing our best to ensure the safety and well-being of all who come to the church. Please every effort to abide by the protocols and instructions.
If you are intending to come to St Philip's for a service, please bear in mind that demand might be high to begin with and that we will have limited capacity. Therefore you will need to arrive early and be prepared for the possibility that you will not be able to enter the church if we have reached our capacity. Another reason for coming early is that the new process of welcoming people will take some time, as we will need to ensure that we have contact details for everyone who attends services.
In addition, please remember that this is still a highly fluid situation and the advice that we are receiving from the provincial health officers may change at short notice. If we have to change some of our protocols, we will endeavour to let you know as soon as possible.
Many thanks for your patience and the messages of support and encouragement that I have received. It will be great to start worshipping together again in the church. I look forward to seeing you.
